SoCO Ongoing Project
SoCCO Mission to Old People & Rehabilitation Centre Ikorodu, Lagos, 2022.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Seed of Compassion Community Outreach’s (SoCCO) Visit to the MENTALLY IMPAIRED & REHABILITATION HOME, LAGOS STATE.
Giving means different things to different people. To some, it might mean gratitude, while to others might be to display how much they have.
Giving shouldn't be when you have in abundance, you mustn't have in abundance before you give.
Some people believe it's necessary to give that last N50 or £1 if someone is in dare need of it.
However, giving is an act of Thanksgiving and gratitude to God for putting you in a position to be able render help to other people, and we all are placed in that position today.
To extend a hand of charity or kindness is a gift. No act of kindness is ever little or wasted. It could be as simple as a glass of water, but you don't know how much blessing water can be to that person. It is in giving what we receive.
That is why Seed Of Compassion Community Outreach (SoCCO) holds her regular charity outreach to help the less privileged, and to revive hope and most of all, to let them know about God's love.
The just concluded outreach by SoCCO in Lagos State, Nigeria is a perfect proof that we can keep hope alive.
SoCCO deemed it fit this February to reach out to to the less privileged.
Gifts were given as well as monetary support to some released inmates. Their faces were filled with radiant smiles.
This is what God calls us to do as Christians, and to make the world a better place we must always strive to contribute our own little quarter.
