Furthermore, we recognize that the problems children and young people face in the United Kingdom make them vulnerable to exploitation and mental health issues. Hence, we provide sessions that create awareness for parents concerning the types of exploitation, how to spot the signs, get help, and what to do as parents. We also offer mental health seminars and workshops for women to reduce the risk of mental health issues in the BAME community. We believe in empowering women of different age ranges and in various areas of life, including employment, finance, marriages, motherhood, and career. We also offer training to widows and those facing poverty to increase their learning and skills so that their lives can be improved.
Our projects aim to bridge the cultural gap between parents and children to address issues such as Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), Child’s Mental Health, Effective Communication within Families, and Behavioural Management. The community will benefit from the positive changes they will experience through the impact of the projects. This includes better family relationships, reduced conflict in the family home, reduction in children coming to the police attention, gang violence, and possibly crime. Reduction of poverty also reduces the risk of families and children being exploited and the rate of suicide in both children and adults.
