About SoCCO
The Seed of Compassion Community Outreach is a registered charity that has evolved over the years in stages. In 2007 God inspired one of His daughters, Pastor (Mrs) Benedicta Olagunju, to write a book titled “Ask.”
Following publication and the success of this book, the Lord directed that the proceeds from its sale should be used as a seed of compassion to touch the lives of the world’s less fortunate peoples.
A series of missionary trips ensued, spanning a period of three years and extending to several countries in Africa including Ghana, Republic of Benin and Nigeria. On her return, Pastor (Mrs) Benedicta Olagunju recognized the need to bring to light the issues affecting the people with whom she had come into contact.
Two other books followed “Ask” volume 1, the revenue from which funded further missionary trips to Africa. This culminated in the formal registration and establishment of SoCCO.

Mission
At Seed of Compassion Community Outreach, our mission is to alleviate human suffering by providing support to those who need it most. We are committed to promoting awareness and providing relief for poverty in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world. We aim to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the helpless and the less fortunate by offering practical and theoretical support/interventions to all participants.
Vision
Our vision is to create a world where every person, regardless of their race, gender, or socio-economic background, has access to basic human necessities, such as food, shelter, and healthcare. We envision a future where communities are empowered, families are thriving, and children are protected from exploitation.
