Welcome to Seed of Compassion Community Outreach, also known as SoCCO. We are dedicated to restoring hope and alleviating human suffering locally and globally. Our mission is to reach out to the forgotten, the isolated, and the deprived and meet their physical and spiritual needs, including providing food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. With your support, we can combat hunger, deprivation, and physical affliction and strive to improve the quality of life for those living in poverty.

SoCCO is active in the UK, Africa, and other places around the world. We support families, men, women, single parents, and teenagers by providing them with the necessary things and teaching them essential skills. Our activities include providing basic needs to low-income families, parenting workshops and seminars, mental health seminars and workshops, and empowering individuals through training and education.

At SoCCO, we believe in making a difference in our community and the world. We encourage you to join us. By donating money or goods, you can help us reach out to people who need a hand and offer them a brighter future. As the Bible teaches us in James 2:16, we should not ignore the needs of those around us. Nelson Mandela also reminded us, "It is in your hands to make a difference." Join us, and let's make a positive change in the world, one life at a time. Together, we can support those individuals in dire need.

About SoCCO

The Seed of Compassion Community Outreach is a registered charity that has evolved over the years in stages. In 2007 God inspired one of His daughters, Pastor (Mrs) Benedicta Olagunju, to write a book titled “Ask.”

Following publication and the success of this book, the Lord directed that the proceeds from its sale should be used as a seed of compassion to touch the lives of the world’s less fortunate peoples.

A series of missionary trips ensued, spanning a period of three years and extending to several countries in Africa including Ghana, Republic of Benin and Nigeria. On her return, Pastor (Mrs) Benedicta Olagunju recognized the need to bring to light the issues affecting the people with whom she had come into contact.

Two other books followed “Ask” volume 1, the revenue from which funded further missionary trips to Africa. This culminated in the formal registration and establishment of SoCCO.
