Malaria kills one child every 60 seconds in the developing world. Prevention is the key to stopping malaria. Although eminently treatable, infection from malaria requires prompt and effective treatment with Artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACT), which many of the people most affected by malaria are unable to afford.

SoCCO’s aim is to make malaria-control more responsive and effective, by increasing awareness and raising funds to assist with the fight against this treatable but serious disease in developing countries. This will be achieved by providing malaria-prevention testing kits, insecticidal mosquito nets and educational workshops in remote villages. There is still much more to do, but with your support, we can make real progress toward saving lives across Africa.
