SoCCO’s work is founded on Christian principles and is inspired by hope. Our work acts to change an unjust world through charity and the practical demonstration of love and care for our neighbours. The demonstration of caring for others brings hope to those in need and contributes to breaking the long-term cycle of hardship and poverty.

SoCCO is motivated by faith in Jesus Christ, serving alongside the poor and oppressed, as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all of His children.

SoCCO is a fully interdenominational and international charity. We recognize that not everyone is on a faith journey. Our goal, put simply, is to bring together individuals who have one thing in common: a passionate desire to touch the lives of all those who are desperately in need.

We aim to make a difference to every individual we help, whether that is by providing food for the hungry or building a fresh-water well or shelter for the poor and the orphaned. One by one, all these different acts of kindness make a powerful impact on every individual we help.
